2018-2019 Racers Tryout Dates and AAA Coaches
Congratulations to our 2017-2018 Racers teams on another successful season. Our U10 AAA, U12 AAA and U14 AAA teams all finished the season as the highest ranked teams in the state of Indiana according to myhockeyrankings.com. Inhockey.net ranked our U16 AAA the top team in the state. Our U10 A and U12 Select teams both took home Buckeye League Playoff Championships.
Dates for our 2018-2019 Racers travel tryouts have been set and AAA coaches have been confirmed.
Executive Director and Head Coach Derek Edwardson will continue to grow the U16 AAA Racers with assistant coach Todd Carlile. Former division 1 star defenseman Eric Olimb has agreed to take the reins at U14 AAA. After a very successful season developing our U10’s, Ryan Smith will lead our U12 AAA team in 2018-2019. Rounding out the Racers AAA lineup will be longtime Indy coach and USA Hockey National Championship winner AJ Mcintosh with the U10 AAA.
AA and A coaches are being finalized and will be announced in the coming days. Details including on and off ice training plans, projected game schedules and leagues as well as total cost for the season will be presented prior to tryouts.
Tryout dates for all travel teams can be found in the table below. Registration will be open soon. Online registration and payment will be mandatory and walk-ins are not permitted.
