The 317 Hockey League (317HL) is a developmental league for players ages 4-14. The purpose of the league is to provide players with a fun, competitive experience where players can develop their game and advance to the next levels if they choose.

Hometown Heroes - Limited Spots Remaining!
Sign up today! Our Heroes have been announced and a few spots remain. Our full day camp run by IYHA staff will keep your kids on the ice and inspire them with local hockey heroes.
317HL All Stars
Since the conclusion of travel tryouts, we’ve gotten several questions about 317HL All-Stars and how to register. You can find all necessary information for the All Star teams at https://www.iyha.com/317all-stars.
Head coaches for All Star teams will be selected over the summer and tryouts will take place the weekend of September 11-12. Registration for those tryouts will open up in August.
Matt Smith Memorial Scholarship
IYHA and the family of Matt Smith have established a scholarship program in Matt's honor to make youth hockey more accessible to participants who demonstrate a financial need. Matt was a beloved hockey coach here in Indy who lost his life much too soon back in August of 2015, but not before he had greatly touched the lives of the youth hockey and adult hockey communities here in the greater Indianapolis area.
The Matt Smith Memorial Hockey Scholarship is funded by contributions and through future events as planned by IYHA and the Smith family. IYHA encourages all families who feel they need assistance with hockey fees to apply.

Player Of The Month - Jace Clifford
- Current Team: IYHA Jr Fuel 11U AAA
- Current Coach: Bernie John
- Player Position: Defense or forward
- Player Experience: Jace began skating at 2 years old in Chicago and hasn't looked back since. He loves hockey and wants to do all he can to help his team win.
- Most Memorable Hockey Experience:
Scoring a hat trick in Nashville last season.
- Who is your favorite team(s) and/or player(s)?
United States National Team, German National Team, Chicago Blackhawks, Patrick Kane and Leon Draisaitl
- School/Grade for 2021-2022: 6th Grade but I'm still 10 years old.
- Community Service: Helping snow shovel several elderly peoples driveway.

Add A Parent/Guardian To SportsEngine
Family members of an athlete can be added as "Guardians" to view the team schedule, RSVP to games and events, message team members, and edit the athlete's profile.
- Sign in and go to your Household tab of your dashboard.
- Click on an athlete sub profile.
- NOTE: You can not add a Guardian to the account owner's profile.
- If you don't have a sub profile for the athlete, you will need to add one either through a registration or by claiming a roster spot.
- On the right side, under the Guardians header, click the plus sign (+).
- Input the Guardian’s email address to invite them.
- Toggle which athlete profiles this Guardian should manage.
- Click Send Invitation.
Helpful Tip! The invited guardian will appear on the Guardians tab as "Pending" until they accept their invite in their dashboard. You can resend a guardian invite at any time by tapping Resend next to the Guardian's name. You will receive an email when the Guardian has accepted the invite.

317 Hockey League Report

The IYHA Jr Fuel are thrilled to announce that Ryan Beck will be the new 317 Hockey League Director for the 2021-2022 season.
Ryan has been the face of our Learn to Play Hockey program for the past several years. His enthusiasm and passion for local hockey have been infectious for new hockey players of all ages. Coach Beck will add professionalism and excitement to the 317HL as he expands his role in the IYHA.
Please join us in welcoming Ryan to the helm of the 317HL.

50/50 Raffle Report

Win some cash while supporting youth hockey in Central Indiana! At every Indy Fuel home game, the IYHA Junior Fuel will conduct a 50/50 raffle with fifty percent of the game’s ticket sales going to one lucky fan and the remainder going to support the IYHA Junior Fuel. 100% of the net proceeds from the raffle will be used to support efforts to grow recreational and developmental youth hockey throughout Central Indiana.
