Join us on August 12th at StonyCreek Golf Club to raise money for the Matt Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Matt Smith Memorial Fund was created in 2016 to help make youth hockey more accessible for families that demonstrate a financial need. The fund has grown to help players from House league to AAA distributing more than $20,000 during the ‘21-’22 hockey season to applicants. 

Even if you aren’t a golfer, we have multiple ways to participate and support a great cause. 

1. Sponsor a hole or a foursome.
2. Purchase chances to win the $25,000 Helicopter Golf Ball Drop (winner does not need to be present).
3. Donate auction or raffle prizes. 
4. Participate in the online silent auction throughout the entire week of the event.

This year’s outing at Stony Creek will be the biggest and most exciting ever! Players will have a chance to win trips to Hawaii, Vegas and Myrtle Beach as well as a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle. Golfers will test their short game to win the 50/50 split the pot cash prize for closest to the pin on a par 3. Last year’s winner took home nearly $1000 in cash!

The main event this year will be the Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Sponsored by the Fuel Tank for $25,000. Participants will purchase as many chances to win as they’d like. At 3:00pm a helicopter will fly over the practice range and drop 1000 golf balls onto a target. If your number is drawn and your ball is in the target circle, you take home $25,000! Practice days and times will be determined after we complete the sign-up process. Once we know how many players we are going to have in each age division, we will be able to figure out how many teams we will need to schedule for practices at each rink.  We thank you for your understanding.
