We kick off the season with “Celly Day” at the Fuel Tank on Saturday, October 5th. While on-ice evaluations are taking place, we will have numerous outdoor activities set up from 8a -12p, for players and families to enjoy free of charge, including: a 75 foot inflatable obstacle course, inflatable human foosball game, Nitro and his slapshot station, face painting, balloon art/twisting, Kona Ice, Pit Stop (inside), Sled Hockey demonstrations, Indiana Donor Network, Fishers Police Officer Koopman and K-9 Rico, Proper Welds (hockey pucks/sticks), High Octane Sports Academy, and more!
Teams will be drafted immediately after your evaluation on 10/5 (see evaluation schedule below), and you will begin practicing as a team starting the week of October 7th. Pre-season games will be held each Saturday throughout October. This will carry us through the various fall breaks that take place. If you can’t make a practice/game, please do not worry. Players will not be penalized. We will begin official games in November.
Teams will be rostered via SportsEngine, and you will have access to the roster, communications, and scheduling via the SportsEngine app: SportsEngine Help (iyha.com)

Parents - SportsEngine, the platform we use for our website, no longer supports public front-facing team pages. As a result, all team schedules, communications, etc., will be handled via the SportsEngine app (see below for instructions on how to download the app).
If you are not receiving email communications, it is likely because SportsEngine only allows one parent or guardian to claim a player's profile. The parent or guardian who has claimed the profile can invite you to also claim it, ensuring you receive emails. To send an invitation to claim the profile, please follow this link: How to Add Guardians | SportsEngine HQ

Do we have to use the locker rooms? Yes! ALL players must change and tie skates in the locker rooms, this includes practices and games. The IYHA Jr Fuel is a customer of each rink (Arctic Zone, Carmel, Fuel Tank, Ice Barn, and Pop Weaver), and we need to respect the requests of rink management to keep the lobby areas open and available to guests that are in attendance to support and watch.
Do we have practices on Halloween? Yes
When is Picture Day? Individual pictures and team pictures will be held throughout January. Schedules tba.
