Hockey Background:
Keith grew up in the Toronto metropolitan area. He won a Memorial Cup while playing Juniors for the Guelph Platers. He was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1986 NHL draft and played five seasons of professional hockey in the IHL, AHL and ECHL. Keith coached the Lawrence HS for five years including a pair of state tournament championship game appearances. In 2002-03 he coached the Indianapolis Jr Ice Mite AA team that went undefeated in the BTHL and won the Regional Silver Stick Mite AA tournament. The 2003-04 season again saw Coach Miller's team win a BTHL championship and win a Regional Silver Stick tournament title. This past season Keith coached the Indianapolis Checkers Squirt AAA team that played in the Mid-America Hockey League (MAHL). This team finished fourth in the league and reached the semi-finals of the league tournament.
