Mini Mites Summer League with Coach Ryan Beck

• Hello Mini Mites!

  We want to invite you to join our Mini Mite SUMMER League for 2016 at Carmel Ice Skadium! For summer, we are offering eight sessions at only $179 under the expert tutelage of Coach Ryan Beck! 

  Mondays, 5:45-6:45pm at Carmel Ice Skadium

  July 11, 18, 25

  We will take Monday, July 4th off for the holiday. We'll practice for the first portion of each hour-long session, and then play a game at the end of practice each night.

  For each of the eight summer sessions, the focus will be on Fun, Engagement, Active practices/scrimmages, and Age-appropriate Training. We will work on the skills progression for youth hockey, including: 

  Skating

  Puck Control

  Passing and Receiving

  Shooting

  Body Contact

  Goaltending

  At this level, we will not designate full-time goaltenders so that players may begin the development of skills that will help improve their long-term skating and athleticism. These are crucial for goaltenders as they progress to higher age levels. Each week, two players will have the opportunity to play goalie.
